A/Prof. Paul Yates is a geriatrician with Austin Health, Deputy Director of Aged Care Research and Medical Lead for the Residential InReach Program. His clinical and research interests include care of older people at the interface between hospital and community, including residential aged care, and novel approaches to improve outcomes in ageing and dementia.
Paul is also lead for the ADNeT Novel Dementia Therapies Community of Practice, a group that is working to improve the implementation of advances in clinical care for people with dementia and cognitive impairment across Australia.
